1. Can I still use the Telecom Site Source if I don't subscribe to the Gold Service?
Of course! At no charge! The companies found on the standard TSS pay to have their sites listed (roughly 65,000 sites from 95+ companies). That's why we can give you this information for free (tell them you found them on the TSS!). However, there were many additional companies that we knew of with towers. We felt that heavy users would be willing to pay a reasonable fee to access these additional sites. It would save them the time necessary to research additional choices.
By using this two-tiered approach, we can offer tremendous value to the casual users as well as someone looking for sites each day.
2. Why should I sign up for the Gold Service?
Simply put, we feel that $250/year is a small price to pay to get the most up-to-date available site list. You have access to tens of thousands of additional towers by dozens of tower companies. If it saves you just one hour per month, or you find one additional site, it's paid for itself. In addition, by knowing that we're constantly looking for new towers, we save you the time and frustration of doing this research yourself.
3. If I Own Towers, Why Should I pay to List Them on the TSS?
Maximum exposure. Anyone can see your towers if you pay to list them (if you don't pay, the end user must pay to access your information). This means that many more users will be exposed to your information. In addition, we give you preferential treatment on the search results, even in the Gold Level Service. For what we believe is a modest fee, your sites are seen by thousands of more users.
